Mamfe Apostolic School Complex is one such institution where students had been enduring a significant challenge: the lack of proper seating.

Issue Faced by Mamfe Apostolic School Complex:
At Mamfe Apostolic School Complex, many children were forced to sit on the floor during school hours due to a shortage of chairs. This uncomfortable and unsanitary seating arrangement hindered their ability to focus on their studies, making learning a difficult and frustrating experience for both students and teachers. Intervention by Miles Africa Youth Network:

DONATION OF WHITEBOARDS TO MAMFE APOSTOLIC SCHOOL COMPLEX

Miles Africa Youth Network (MAYN) remains committed to its mission of supporting education and skill development among young learners. As part of our ongoing initiatives, we identified Mamfe Apostolic School Complex as a school in need of essential learning materials. Following an earlier donation of chairs to the school, MAYN has taken another significant step by donating whiteboards to improve the teaching and learning experience for students and teachers alike.

Our assessment of Mamfe Apostolic School Complex revealed several challenges impeding effective education delivery. Some of the pressing issues include:

1. Uncompleted Infrastructure – Several classrooms and school buildings remain unfinished, exposing students and teachers to harsh weather conditions and limiting the learning space available.

2. Lack of Chairs – Prior to our intervention, many students had no proper seating arrangements, making it difficult for them to concentrate and learn comfortably. To address this, MAYN previously donated chairs to help alleviate this issue.

3. Lack of Whiteboards – The absence of modern teaching aids such as whiteboards has hindered interactive and engaging teaching methods. Teachers have had to rely on makeshift alternatives, which are not effective for visual learning.

The Whiteboard Donation Initiative 
Understanding the importance of visual learning and interactive classroom engagement, MAYN donated whiteboards to the school. This initiative directly benefits approximately 70 students, providing them with a more conducive learning environment. The whiteboards will enhance lesson delivery, improve students' understanding, and create a more structured classroom setting for both teachers and learners.
